Una Productions is a San Francisco based dance production company,
founded in NYC in 2013 by Artistic Director and Choreographer Chuck Wilt.
Una creates original productions that incorporate contemporary dance, drag performance & live music.
Una's mission is to communicate deeply rooted embodiments of human existence through physically powerful dancing, unapologetically Queer imagery and storytelling. Una celebrates individuality and is devoted to creating more spaces centering vibrancy, multiplicity and joy.
Una's programming creates opportunities for performers, facilitates collaboration with multidisciplinary artists, and provides training and educational outreach exchanges.
Una has been presented by Z Space, Gibney Center, the 92NY's Harkness Mainstage Series, Clarice-Smith Performing Arts Center, the Chutzpah! Festival in Vancouver, and BC Movement Arts Society in Sointula, Port Hardy, Campbell River and Alert Bay - performing for and engaging in cultural exchange with the ‘Namgis First Nation Community, Fusion International in Kaga and Tokyo, co-presented by the ODC Theater, presented by the Spectrum Dance Festival at The Launchpad, Movement Research at the Judson Church, 92nd St. Y’s FAN and Dig Dance Series, Create:Art at Gallim Dance, Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out, Springboard Danse Montreal, Dumbo Dance Festival, Tisch Summer Dance Festival, Triskelion Arts, Current Sessions, DANCENOW Raw, CPR and more.
